Thought
I love this scripture this is a recipe for life! Wisdom truly is the principle thing. Our reverence, deep heartfelt respect for God and who he is, is the beginning if "wisdom", then we are given insight and understanding by getting knowledge of God. it is through this wisdom that we can have an extended and longer life here on this earth. I want to point out one thing here; note who is responsible for doing this. God made it available, its up to us to do it. Its a choice. So if we desire, insight, understanding and long life, we must obtain the wisdom of God, not worldly wisdom.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I ask for your guidance into wisdom, I ask for a strong desire to seek after your word, gaining knowledge of you Lord, you are the essence of all wisdom..help us to realize that this is something we must make a choice to do and then to do it, to diligently seek after it Lord, that we may live long and prosper upon this earth, I ask
